Biography

Nicole Román Abreu is from Puerto Rico which led her to have a strong cultural identity, connection to water, and sports. She brings a meaningful approach to community voices and interest in museum administrative policies. Through her academic and professional career, Nicole has curated various exhibitions, facilitated workshops, and developed design projects. During Nicole’s time as a graduate student she is working towards incorporating accessible design practices and expanding on her collection management skills. Her goal is to connect communities to institutions, and showcase the value of collections to a diverse audience.
