Biography

Marnie Hill-Woodworth is a second-year Museology graduate student whose sixth-grade computer class careers unit quiz inspired her to pursue museum work. Since then, she has focused on collections care, exhibit curation and design, as her number one recommended career choice from the quiz was 鈥渆xhibit designer鈥. One of Marnie鈥檚 main hobbies is taxidermy, which she hopes to further incorporate into her museum work, as she has interned with the Burke Museum in the Ornithology department helping to prepare specimens for their collections. Her background in Art History and Anthropology has informed her studies, and she hopes to dive into more conservation and preservation practices within the collections work she does.
