#ExploreSeattle – Sweeping views and sunny days!

Today we have yet another fresh installment of #ExploreSeattle from the exploratory perspective of second year Museology student Libbie Barnes!

Do you ever feel the urge to get out on a clear and sunny day to #ExploreSeattle? So does everyone else! Sunny days in this city can feel few and far between, so when a sunny day hits it feels like everyone and their dog is out enjoying the sunshine. While the rain is great for our trees, it is not so great for showing off the incredible views Seattle has to offer. When a clear day finally hits, you may find that some of the most well known views are so overcrowded. If you are looking to #ExploreSeattle and not get caught in the sunny day crowds, here are some options for view finding that may feel a little more serene.

– Discovery Park (involves a 2.6mi round trip hike)
– Pioneer Square tucked away urban oasis
– sweeping city views (check website for admission prices)
– take advice from the name and go at sunset
– Great spot for sunsets
– great views if you’re out by Alki Beach!
